List of documents before flying to Nepal:

International passport. The passport must be valid for more than 6 months from the date of return flight.
Printed airline tickets.
Travel insurance covering risks, including Covid, for the entire period of the trip.
Printed online visa form from Nepal Immigration Department website. An example of filling is below (open the image in a new window to see the screenshot in a larger size). When finished, click the DOWNLOAD button to save the table and PRINT to print it. Below the table is the period until which you can use it (valid for 15 days) to get a visa to Nepal. After this date, the application is automatically canceled. Therefore, do not rush to fill out all these forms in a month. Everything can be prepared without problems a week before departure. Then nothing will definitely expire.

The visa application form can be completed the day before departure and printed. See the link below for a sample form.
You can also fill out the form upon arrival at a special machine at the exit from the plane or online.
With the printed visa application form or a photo, go to the ticket office to pay the visa fee.

Attention! The only accepted $ banknotes are those issued no earlier than 2003. Payment in euros or by card is also accepted.

Attention! In the example on the screenshot, the visa is for 15 days. When filling out the application, select the number of days that corresponds to your stay in Nepal! Do not pay for the visa. Just fill out the form and take the printout with you (on the 4th page, where the data is verified, click the blue CONFIRM button).

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will need to proceed further to the cash desk to pay for your visa (for 15, 30 or 90 days). After payment, you will be given a receipt. Together with it and your package of other documents, go to passport control, where you present the receipt for the visa payment, provide your passport and receive a visa.
