“Aladaglar” literally translates from Turkish as – colorful mountains. All thanks to the red, brown, yellow color of the mountains, which change color at sunset. Once upon a time, the place where the mountains grew was a sea. The main rock in the mountains is limestone.

The Aladaglar National Park is home to the highest mountains in the Central Taurus Mountains of Turkey. The area is not super popular, but it is where climbers from all over the world come to gain experience and prepare for more serious technical climbs. This is facilitated by stable weather from May to November, monolithic mountains made of limestone rocks, many places for training, the presence of beaten climbing routes.

This program is suitable for those who already have experience in mountaineering and rock climbing, as well as for beginners who have already been in the mountains and want to try themselves on technical routes. We will climb along rocky routes to peaks up to 3700 m high. We will select the routes according to the level of the participants. We will teach you everything you need to do this.

There is also much to see in and around Aladaglar. This region is incredibly picturesque: rocky peaks, flowering meadows and crystal clear glacial lakes, it is not for nothing that Aladaglar is called the “Turkish Alps”. And Cappadocia is very close, 2-2.5 hours to the sea on a good road.

We rent a car for travel, so we will have time for everything. We will live in a camping: in comfortable bungalows and we will go to the mountains with our tent.

Minimum required experience to participate in the program: experience of previous hikes or ascents, climbing on rocks 4c/5a.
