Sicily has numerous climbing areas, large and small, scattered across the island. But two areas stand out: the area around San Vito Lo Capo and the city of Palermo. Here, over 1,000 climbing routes have been established, ranging from 5a to 9a.
We invite you to a rock climbing and mountaineering program in Sicily’s most popular climbing area – San Vito Lo Capo in the province of Trapani. This area is ideal for beginners and advanced climbers. We’ll spend days training on the rocks, climbing alpine routes, and multi-pitch routes. The local rock type is limestone.
The tour program includes an ascent to the summit under the guidance of an experienced guide.
The route is balanced, combining climbing days (gradually increasing in difficulty) with cultural breaks. An excellent option for a group with climbing experience at 5c–6a who wants to practice multi-pitch routes.
