We offer a combined program that includes intense training on the rocks and excursions to ancient temples of Armenia. As part of the program, we will do rock climbing, mountaineering and just walk around the beautiful places of this wonderful country. First, we will help you get used to the rocks, and then we will teach you to work in a team with partners using the necessary mountaineering equipment.

Our task is to ensure that you understand as much as possible what is happening on the route and learn the basics of rock climbing and mountaineering. It should be noted that we consider large groups unsafe. That is why the guide will work with no more than four participants. If there are more participants, then another assistant guide will work.

The program is educational in nature, and we are sure that you will get excellent experience and unforgettable emotions. We conduct rock climbing and mountaineering training in different areas.

Moving to Noravank Canyon, setting up camp

Introductory climbing lesson. Noravank Canyon is rich in numerous caves (Magel, Birds, Bears and Mozrov), its flora – rare wild rose (Rosa hemisphaerica), pistachio, wild pear, berries and fauna.
The canyon is also one of the key bird areas of Armenia, serving as a nesting site for some globally endangered bird species, as well as vulnerable bat colonies and one of the rarest and most endangered animal species, the Caucasian leopard. In the evening, a campfire, tea and heartfelt stories. Overnight in a tent.

Rock climbing, Noravank Monastery

In the first half of the day we go rock climbing, in the second half we go for a walk along the gorge to the Noravank monastery. The monastery complex is located on the edge of the gorge. On its territory there are several ancient khachkars, as well as a unique in its architecture two-story church of Surb Astvatsatsin with narrow cantilevered stairs.
Noravank was also the residence of the Armenian princes Orbelian. The place is incredibly beautiful, as are its surroundings. An ancient shoe was found in the local red rocks, the oldest shoe that has survived intact to this day. In the evening, a fire, tea and heartfelt stories. Overnight in a tent.

Rock climbing, Khor Virap Monastery

In the first half of the day we go rock climbing, in the second we go to Khor Virap. The monastery is located on the Turkish border at the foot of Mount Ararat. Every Armenian knows about this unique architectural monument of the century. The fortress monastery is a place of pilgrimage, one of the most revered places in Armenia, sacred to the Armenian Apostolic Church.
The monastery was erected in the period from the 6th to the 17th centuries, above the dungeon where the baptist of Armenia, Saint Gregory the Illuminator, languished for the spread of Christianity. In the evening, a fire, tea and heartfelt stories. Overnight in a tent.

In the morning we will go to an incredibly beautiful place – Tatev Monastery

There is an ancient monastery of Tatev, located on the edge of the mountain, from where incredible views open up, the longest cable car in the world, a bridge over the river made by nature, but on which cars drive, and hot springs, reminiscent of Pamukkale, but much more beautiful. You can swim in them, take pictures, they are located in the river valley under the rocks. In the evening, a fire, tea and heartfelt stories. Overnight in a tent.

Rock climbing, moving to Yerevan

Warm-up in the morning, passing easy routes. Those who have mastered the technique well will pass the mountaineering route 4b Soyuz 82 or Danak (Knife).
After lunch we pack up the camp and head to Yerevan. A night walk around the city, a musical fountain and many architectural monuments, and we will also walk along the central street and taste Armenian dishes in a cafe. Overnight in a hostel.

Monastery of Geghard

A trip to Geghard, an ancient monastery complex that houses the spear of Longinus, which pierced the body of Jesus Christ on the Cross. We will also visit the pagan temple of the 1st century AD Garni, and see the stone symphony.
Return to Yerevan at 16:00. This concludes our event, see you on new tours.
