In order for the event to be truly safe, we involve real professionals in their field, and not just “experienced tourists” to work with you.
Most of our guides have at least the 1st sports category in mountaineering or mountain tourism, champions of republican competitions and the CIS, have been trained in schools of instructors, mountaineering instructors, many have real experience in rescue operations in the mountains, have been trained in specialized courses in medicine.
All our guides are experienced athletes who have experience in managing sports hikes, difficult ascents, including 8000m. But this is their sports experience and work with a team of athletes, so our guides do not have the following phrases in their track records: “25 years old, hiking experience 10 years, guide experience 8 years”. Seriously?!
Working with “tourists/guests” (customers) and athletes are two different things. The filter of the guides we work with is very strong, but we are proud to cooperate with people who have real experience as a guide for more than 10-15 years, some guides are at the origins of ExtremeGuide.
Despite our experience, we believe that development and self-improvement is the best way to become professional in your field. Therefore, we strongly support the professional development and training of our guides.

We have set a goal to prepare the first 5 mountaineering guides within the company with an international diploma by 2020. From May 25 to June 6, 2017, in the Elbrus region, ExtremeGuide, with the support of the Kyrgyz Association of Mountain Guides, KMGA (a member of the International Association of Mountain Guides IFMGA), held the first mountaineering training module. Some of our guides continue their education at this school. School website www.mguide.in.kg .
