We present to your attention a new interesting program hiking the Lycian Way. The route passes through its western part along the Mediterranean coast. On this section of the route there are cozy rocky bays, beautiful deserted beaches with clear turquoise water, ancient monuments of the Lycian civilization.
That is why this part of the Lycian Way is considered the most beautiful. The climate is distinguished by its mildness, for which these places are also called the “Turkish Riviera”. The temperature does not fall below + 8 even in winter, so the bravest will be able to swim.
The route does not have difficult sections or large elevation changes. So the program is perfect even for inexperienced tourists. In addition, we will not have to carry huge supplies of provisions, water and other things. There are many small villages scattered throughout the route, where you can always buy everything you need.

Basics:

Shoes and clothes:
- Trekking boots or sneakers (it is important that the shoes are comfortable and worn in. Usually, shoes are chosen with a thick toe and 1.5 – 2 sizes larger than the foot size) (More about choosing clothes and boots);
- Changeable shoes (crocs or sandals);
- Membrane jacket (for rain and wind);
- Hat or buff;
- Hiking pants (Gore-Tex/cotton/synthetic);
- Raincoat or cape (if clothing gets wet);
- Thermal underwear (or alternatively: long johns and a T-shirt);
- Warm sweater (fleece is best);
- Socks – 3 pairs (thick or trekking);

Trekking takes place in Turkey. Turkey allows tourists to enter without a visa, it is enough to have a valid passport. Tourists from Russia and Ukraine can stay in Turkey without a visa for up to 90 days. We will advise you on obtaining insurance.
The currency of Turkey is the Lira. In cities, you can easily exchange dollars or euros for liras. Also, many places accept bank cards.
The most convenient way to arrive is to fly to Antalya. The group will be met at Antalya airport or at the bus station. You need to arrive before 12:00. We travel along the route by regular buses. The buses are comfortable and air-conditioned.
Accommodation on the tour is in tents in the forest and on the seashore. Tents for 2-3 people. You can take your own tent.
In Antalya we live in a hotel.
The group organizes meals autonomously in the public kitchen. As a rule, porridge for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, soup for dinner and tea with sweets for each meal. In cities, meals are taken independently in cafes.

The guide has a general first aid kit and a telephone for contacting the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It is advisable to take individual medications with you.
Mobile phone coverage is available along almost the entire route.
The best time for trekking along the Lycian Way is spring and autumn, at this time it is not hot and rain is unlikely. The temperature during the day is +15- +28, at night +10 – +20.
