The Mountaineering School in Chaukhi is an opportunity to get into a very beautiful mountainous region of Georgia, climbing Kazbek, get vivid emotions and new experiences. The area is interesting for its short approaches to climbing routes, accessibility and a range of simple peaks that are safe for beginner climbers.

The training program includes rock climbing, snow and ice classes and qualifying ascents to the peaks of the region, as well as classes on organizing rescue operations and bivouacs in the mountains. Instructors with many years of experience will work with you. The presence of a rock laboratory next to the camp makes it possible to build the educational process with maximum efficiency, and the availability of rental equipment significantly simplifies the equipment of participants.

The main goal of the mountaineering school in Georgia is to gain additional skills in mountaineering, consolidate previously acquired techniques and knowledge in mountain hiking and climbing in the Caucasus. Preparing for difficult climbs to the top of the world and simply pumping yourself up.

The school program is divided into two stages: main and educational – 10 days and + 6 days of climbing Mount Kazbek.

Participants over 16 years of age are allowed to climb. Participants from 14 to 16 years old are allowed under the guidance of a mountaineering instructor who conducted pre-season training, taking into account their physical fitness and with the written consent of their parents.

The instructors are experienced, certified CMS, MS in mountaineering, who have repeatedly conducted training programs in the Chaukhi gorge.

To visit Georgia, citizens of the former CIS only need a foreign passport; they do not need a visa. It is imperative to have with you a medical certificate from a physical dispensary with permission to engage in mountaineering and, preferably, a cardiogram and blood tests no more than a month old.
