Dolomites  —  a natural monument of world heritage, listed by UNESCO.

The Dolomites are one of the most famous trekking regions in Europe, and perhaps one of the most picturesque. Wild alpine meadows, evergreen forests, lunar landscapes, high-mountain lakes, mountain peaks floating in the clouds – all this makes a hike in the Alps, and in particular in the Dolomites, one of the most successful trips. This is the most ancient region of the Alps. The Dolomites were formed 230 million years ago, when the entire territory of the modern Alps was hidden by the ocean. At that time, the Dolomites were coral islands, reefs and atolls, like the Maldives in modern times. Later, 50 million years ago, the modern Alps formed, lifting the Dolomites and partially destroying them.

The Dolomites have many trekking and mountaineering routes to suit every taste.
We have selected one of the most exciting ones for you.

The region of Cortina d’Ampezzo is considered one of the most beautiful routes in the Dolomites and is considered the “calling card” of the Dolomites. We will visit the Lavaredo massif, the Sorapis massif and its high mountain lake Sorapis, take a bird’s eye view of the Cristallo massif, and visit the ancient town of South Tyrol — Cortina d’Ampezzo.

We will walk the entire route with small backpacks, lightly. On average, we will cover 10-15 km per day with a maximum elevation difference of up to 1000 m. Landscapes will change from alpine meadows to glaciers and snow-covered massifs. Altitudes along the route are 1700 – 2700 m.

Trekking in the Dolomites is absolutely easy and accessible even for children. And photography lovers will be pleasantly surprised by the abundance of beautiful landscapes. We will spend the night in comfortable campsites (accommodation in tents or optionally in houses) and hotels. And with us on walks in the mountains we will take only a small set of the most necessary things that will fit in a small backpack. We will walk and admire the surrounding views and take a lot of photographs.

A bonus to the trip will be two unforgettable days in Venice at the end of the trekking.
