How Summer Is Unfolding at ExtremeGuide
It’s hard to believe, but our summer season has already passed the halfway mark. 🤩
Nearly two-thirds of our busiest season is already behind us. That means hundreds of kilometers of mountain trails, dozens of sunrises above the clouds, thousands of meters of elevation gain, new friendships, dreams fulfilled, and summits that will stay with our climbers for a lifetime.

This season has taken us across the Alps, Georgia, Central Asia, the Ukrainian Carpathians, and Kilimanjaro, bringing unforgettable experiences every step of the way. And while we’ve already shared countless incredible moments, there’s still an exciting finish to the summer ahead.

Right now, several of our teams are simultaneously operating on Mont Blanc, at our Alpine School in Chaukhi, on Mount Kazbek, in the Fann Mountains, on Ibn Sina Peak (formerly Lenin Peak), and, of course, in our beloved Carpathian Mountains.

This year’s Alpine season began under exceptionally hot conditions. Glaciers have been melting rapidly, exposing large crevasses and making mountain conditions more demanding than usual. The Goûter Route has become exceptionally busy because one of Mont Blanc’s classic routes—the Three Mont Blancs Traverse—has become impassable this season. Despite these challenges, our experienced mountain guides work tirelessly every day to ensure that every participant has the safest possible opportunity to achieve their dream of standing on the summit. Unfortunately, not all of our June groups were able to secure places in the mountain huts due to limited availability. However, all of our subsequent expeditions have successfully followed the Tête Rousse and Goûter route.

🤤 The good news? We still have available spots on many of our most popular programs throughout August and September, so there’s still plenty of time to plan your next mountain adventure with us.
