During the program, one of the most picturesque routes in Turkey awaits us – the Lycian Way. It stretches for over 500 kilometers. The entire route is filled with magnificent scenery and beautiful orchards. In addition, there are often villages here, and we will have the opportunity to observe the unhurried life of farmers.
Hiking the Lycian Way is interesting is also interesting for its ancient history. The Lycian civilization was once located on this territory. The ruins of their ancient culture are located along the entire length of the trail. We will have the opportunity to take excursions to ancient Lycian cities, see unique structures carved into the rocks, as well as ancient settlements on the seashore, which are already several thousand years old.
The magnificent Mediterranean climate in this area has a beneficial effect on health. All routes are quite easy and do not require special training from participants. We have chosen the simplest and most picturesque routes for our program. We will visit the golden beaches several times. Swimming in spring and autumn is, of course, an activity for the strong-willed, because the water temperature on average does not rise above 16 degrees. But breathing in the sea air and basking in the sun is also very pleasant.

Meeting with group in Antalya. It is advisable to arrive before 12:00. Then we take a regular bus to the city of Fethiye. From here we go to the village of Karakoy. This village is famous for the fact that it has remained deserted for 90 years. Greek settlers used to live here. In the 1920s, they left, leaving over 3 thousand houses unattended. Most of them are still in the same condition. Our trek to the mountains begins from Karakoy. We reach Oludeniz Bay before evening. This place is considered one of the best beaches in Turkey. Here we will spend the night in tents.

We move on to Mount Babadag. From here begins a beautiful mountain relief with peaks, gorges and canyons. Our route continues to the Faralya tract. From here we continue moving towards the beautiful Valley of Butterflies. This is truly a fabulous place. Local tree species attract millions of butterflies of various shapes and colors. Not far from the valley we will stop for the night.

We make the transition to the village of Kabak and spend the night in tents on the seashore.

Today our picturesque path smoothly ascends into the mountains. We move towards the village of Gey, not far from the village and stop for the night.

We go to the village of Gavuragyly. This is a very colorful village. After lunch we go down to the sea. On the shore are the ruins of the ancient Lycian city of Pydnai. After the inspection we set up camp on the shore.

This day we will visit the ruins of the ancient cities of Letoon and Xanthos. They are also the heritage of the ancient Lycians. The huge ruins simply amaze with their grandeur. Night in tents in the forest.

We continue moving along the sea, swimming and sunbathing at rest stops, by evening we will reach Adrasan beach, where in the evening you can have a delicious dinner of seafood dishes in a cafe.

Transfer to the ancient city of Olympos, walk through the ruins of the city. For the night we will stop at a campsite near the sea, in the evening we will take a radial walk to the top of the fiery mountain Chimera. A beautiful mountain with lights on natural gas sources. Minimum requirements for participants: physical fitness and readiness for an active way of traveling, walking 10-15 km per day, long loads, independent carrying of a backpack (15-17 kg). It is recommended to take up running, swimming, cycling several months before the trip.

Trekking takes place in Turkey. Turkey allows tourists to enter without a visa, it is enough to have a valid passport. Tourists from Russia and Ukraine can stay in Turkey without a visa for up to 90 days. An insurance is required. We will advise you on obtaining insurance.
The currency of Turkey is the Lira. In cities, you can easily exchange dollars or euros for liras. Also, many places accept bank cards.
The most convenient way to arrive is to fly to Antalya. The group will be met at Antalya airport or at the bus station. You need to arrive before 12:00. We travel along the route by regular buses. The buses are comfortable and air-conditioned.
Accommodation on the tour is in tents in the forest and on the seashore. Tents for 2-3 people. You can take your own tent.
In Antalya we live in a hotel.
The group organizes meals autonomously in the public kitchen. As a rule, porridge for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, soup for dinner and tea with sweets for each meal. In cities, meals are taken independently in cafes.

The best time for trekking along the Lycian Way is spring and autumn, at this time it is not hot and rain is unlikely. The temperature during the day is +15- +28, at night +10 – +20.
