Today our route will go to the village of Baktim. To get there we will go through a rather long route through Kanchenjunga National Park. Our whole road will run through a beautiful bamboo forest.
The solitary conifers and huge oaks that sometimes appear in the forest look quite wild among the bamboo trees. We will spend the night in a shelter.

day
We meet the dawn with a view of the third highest eight-thousander in the world Kanchenjunga (8586 m). In addition, here you can see the beautiful mountain range of Kabru. Climbing the Goche La Pass (4940 m). This is the culmination of our hike. From here the most majestic peaks of this mountain range, river valleys and much more are visible. Photo session on site. Walking around the area. Transfer to the village of Tsangsing.

Having covered a considerable distance, we arrive in the village of Tsoku. The locals are very welcoming to guests. They will gladly feed tourists a local delicacy – thukpa soup, share their shelter, and will surround travelers with attention in every possible way.
By the way, you can also try tongba here. It is a local drink similar to our beer, only made from millet.

After crossing Yuksom, we again arrive in the lower part of Sikkim. Here the weather is very different from the harsh mountain climate.
